Ultimate relaxation

Wow I'm so excited to see all of the emails in my inbox about the crazy-weird-rude-funny first impressions that people got when they told others they were adopting. Keep them coming and keep telling others to send them to me!!!!

This weekend my husband and I flew to Cancun to celebrate (slightly early) our 10th anniversary.

 We stayed at the Live Aqua resort. Can I just tell you, that I don't think I've ever been that relaxed in my entire life???

From the moment we stepped through the door, the entire place looked and felt like a spa. All we did was SUPER LAZY stuff like float in the pool, sit by the pool and read a book, ...

....order room-service, eat (at the restaurants and from the stocked fridge/snack bar in our room-- everything was all-inclusive!!!),

walked on the beach, ate dinner on the beach...

...it was. so. relaxing. I didn't think I could literally just spend even an entire day being lazy without getting bored by the evening, but I sure did manage to the entire time. My brain was so at peace!

And now, back to the 105 degree days...every day...where my kids can't even go outside to play at ALL because of the scorching weather that cooks little faces and feet dare they even step outside. Oh, caliente!
